The volcanic landscape changes with the morning light. Leave room at the viewpoint and sea of sand, then treat the return as rest time. Sunrise visibility depends on weather and is not guaranteed.

Stay near Bromo rather than driving overnight straight from the airport. After sunrise, return to Surabaya for rest before flying the following day.

At the Bromo base, enjoy a warm breakfast after the jeep outing. Back in Surabaya, consider rawon for an independent meal. This dark beef soup is a regional choice; ask about ingredients and portions.
Area tip · Follow park access rules
Jeep routes and walking areas follow management rules on the visit date. Bring warm layers and suitable shoes. Avoid a long extra tour after the early start; the Surabaya night deliberately provides rest.
